All the buildings are connected under ground (House of Representatives, Senate and the Senate offices and the Capitol), which makes for a long walk if they didn't have the train. It was a tiny train with big windows so you can look out. We all enjoyed the ride.
We found our statue. We instantly found Brigham Young. He was the only man with a beard.
We are standing in the center of the city.
After the Capitol tour we went to the Natural History Museum. Maylie loved it. Brittany- Maylie kept saying that Brian would love this place. I don't know where she got that. Maybe they talked dinosaur/animal stuff before.
Maylie was eager to pose by the aniamls.

If you can tell Joe is in front of a Mammoth. Those things are huge without all his skin and fur.

What a fun place to go as a family... DC has got to be one of the coolest places to live ever right. Having a new baby is so fun, I totally thought it was a boy, Rod thought it was a girl. I win!! I would defnitely do it again, the surprise is awesome!

How funny that Maylie would think of Bryan! =) Did I tell you we're going to be out in Pennsylvania for like a month and a half around Christmas?? We get there November 18th, so we FOR SURE need to hang out! We'll go to all the free museums and the zoo with you. Gotta love D.C.! =)
