Why does the camera that I want have to be so darn expensive? I am hoping to purchase this baby sometime soon. There are so many cool places around here. If only I had a better camera. If anyone knows a better price than $1600.00 then let me know?

Check out B&H (www.bhphotovideo.com), adorama.com or amazon.com. Be careful not to go to those places that are too good to be true on the internet, because it always is, you'll end up be really sorry (learned from experience). Buying online is definitely cheaper. You'll love that camera!

I just bought a cannon elf at costco for 230.00 and I love it. It is 10 MP and rocks. It is tiny and I can put it in my pocket. I like it way better than slr's or eos. Unless you want to be a photographer, get a smaller digital. They take amazing pictures and you actually will end up using it because you can take it anywere easily, it fits in a pocket or a purse!

I have a digital Rebel and I LOVE IT!
I have a canon DSLR. I really wanted a Nikon, too but had to settle for the Canon because it's so much cheaper. It takes great pictures and I'm pretty happy with it. Costco usually has a great deal that includes a kit lens and then later you can buy a zoom lens if you want. Good luck!
