Appendicitis
Yes, that's what I had. It all started on Wednesday morning about 4 am to be exact when I felt some pain. Being half asleep, I thought I was just hungry so I grabbed a slice of bread and went back to sleep. The next day I was still feeling sick, more nauseated, more pain. I ended up going to the Urgent Care who sent me to the hopital for a CT scan. Through all the waiting that we had to do it ended with surgery. The surgery went fine. I had to stay at the hospital 1 extra day cause the doctor thought I looked too swollen still. I told him that I didn't start out with a flat stomache but he still didn't budge. Now I'm resting in bed and taking it easy.

What the heck. Too crazy. I asked Mike how people get appendicitis and he said it is still one of the great mysteries that science hasn't been able to solve. We don't even know why we have an appendix. But we do know that when something is wrong we have to get it out. Kind of cool to think there is still some mystery out there. Glad you are ok.
Hey, we were in the hospital at the same time! I can't believe you had an appendicitis--how are you feeling now?

I'm glad to hear that your surgery went well, that is crazy! I probably would have asked the dr to take a little extra out with my appendix. That way I could leave there with a flat belly!

I had appendicitis when I was eight years old. Hurts like heck! sorry you had to go through that. It's not fun.

Isn't it crazy how one minute you can be feeling completely normal, and the next moment you're in surgery?!? Great to know there are "optional" organs floating around in our bodies so we could figure out how to remove them.
Good thing about recovering from surgery is you get a break from the kids, and get to have more sleep than normal...milk it! :)

It is no secret that I have a very deep and personal relationship with God. I have pushed and resisted that relationship this past year through all the bullshit I have had to go through living with Herpes but once again, God is bigger than my stubbornness and broke through that outbreak cold sore and all I had Genital Herpes. For me personally, hearing over and over how I am not good enough has really invaded my mind in the worst way possible.
