Maylie's big day! First day of preschool. She was so excitted to see all of her old friends and make new friends. There's a total of 7 kids. I get to teach once every 7 weeks. Can't beat that when it's free.

Now that Taryn is a little older, her and Maylie are playing better together. Well some of the time. I just love seeing them play together.
Outside our beach house in Outer Banks. Had a fabulous relaxing time. Can't wait to do it next year!

Alright already........

My in laws were in town a couple of weeks ago. Sorry, now just posting about it. We headed to Williamsburg. Lots to see. Taryn is looking into the iron house. We watched them make a nut bolt. (whatever you call them).

Alright here's the story about why I have staples in my head. I've been making quiet books or file folder activities (whatever you want to call them) for the girls. Alot of cutting and laminating going on. I thought I had thrown away some pieces that were done. I had just taken out the garbage to the dumpster a couple of hours before. So in between the pouring down rain we were having cause of a storm Mandirae and I went down to grab the garbage to look through it. As we were looking the lid to the garbage can fell down on us. Now this lid is not plastic. It's so heavy that you have to lift it with two hands. Mandirae broke her nose and has had surgery since the accident a week ago today and is recovery fine. I got my staples out this morning and was finally able to wash my hair.


Maylie's last day of preschool this year. She didn't want to hold up her certificate instead she wanted to hold to balls with cats on them. I thought about putting her in preschool where you actually have to pay but decided to do joy school again. Teaching every 6 weeks isn't bad at all.

Okay it's been forever. I'll try to redeem myself here. The day finally came when we were able to go to Utah and see family. It always takes forever for the day to get here but when it's here it goes by too quick. It was alot of fun hanging out and playing games with everyone.

Maylie, Lainie and Grandma (mom) sitten around the fire pit roasting marshmallows, Mexican marshmallows. These marshmallows were huge. It takes 7 layers to get through them if you roast them the right way.

Went to Tucano's for lunch. Cody, Joe's little brother graduated from BYU Idaho. Congratulations again Codz!
